Title: Fowler or Hall

At this point, if we had the choice would you take Taylor Hall or Cam Fowler?

I'm voting Fowler...we have a logjam at center now, and even if neither Neilson or Bailey turns into a legit #2, #2 center's aren't too tough to come by.

Fowler projects to be a #1 Dman...that's definitely what we need in the organization.

Agreed...

but I wouldn't use Gordie and Maurice as evidence to the contrary.

George Carlin's list includes, but not limited to, Frankie, Tommy, Jimmy, and Vinny.

We take Fowler the Bruins get Hall. Stupid Leafs get nothing.

I dont think were going to wind up with the first pick in next years draft anyway, but i think Boston winds up getting that first round pick..and I see them trading it away... I wouldnt put it past them. There really isnt anyone going into next years draft outside of Fowler and Hall that truly jumps off the page. It doesnt really matter because either Fowler or Hall the Isles will have another great pick-up next season. I just hope they dont do anything crazy when it comes to collecting draft picks for next seasons draft...

maybe there's a chance we can wind up with the first two picks and get them both.

Fowler hands down, we have enough young offensive players that we have to hope pan out, defensively were f#@ked

If Hall can play wing I'd take him.

If we are in the position where we have to choose between them, I'd rather see us take Fowler, just out of necessity.

But there's always the argument that you don't pick for need if you have the first overall, you pick the best available.

Best case scenario (for the draft, obviously not for the season), we have the first overall, and whatever team has the second really wants Hall. Trade down, get an extra pick or two, and pick up Fowler.

Either way, I don't think we'll be in the position to take either come next year's draft.
