Title: Refs & Caps vs. Isles
Description: Were they blind?

Two notable ones: Roloson called for tripping, he got puck first, shouldn't have been a penalty, and when Chris Clark held onto Andy Sutton for at least 3-5 seconds and nothing was called. I'm sick of this BS. What have we done that we're treated like this?

P.S. wasn't sure where to put this, no problem if its moved.

I was wondering the same thing concerning the tripping call. What ticked me off was the trail official made that call from the center redline. Sorry, but he was cutting across center ice at the time and there was no way he could get a good view...obviously because he made the wrong call. Roloson's stick knocked the puck away. It was a perfectly legal play that is made every night in the nhl.

Still, it wasn't the refs who made us stop skating in the 3rd period.

Why does everyone like to blame the refs??

Webb20 - October 26, 2009 11:13 AM (GMT)
They are easy targets, they are human, and we love to pounce on their mistakes. Plus when you lose every game you blame everyone.

I'm sure there is some way we can blame Scott Gordon for the refs mistake :letssee:

I don't blame the refs for the game, but missed or blown calls do not help a struggling team. First things first, skate in the third and you won't have to blame the refs.

Fans of all 30 teams think the refs are out to get them...what does that tell you?

Well, we played the Crapitals twice and play them again on November 11. That's 3 times in 19 days. And then we don't see them again, home or away, for another 76 days. That's right, we don't play them again after 11/11 until January 26.

The schedule maker hates us, too.

The pretzel maker hates me too. Not enough salt on those twists. I always get the one with a few strands of salt on it.

rifleman22 - October 27, 2009 08:38 PM (GMT)
Shoot- that one's easy. You PICK the one with the most salt on it, then knock enough off so it has the exact right amount. ;)

Some of them are wrapped so I don't want to go through a whole mess of them to see which one has the most salt on it ... lol
