Okay the Islanders finally got their win. The boys did a little better. But did they really. They sat in their lockers, staring at each other. Knowing there is no satisfaction. Still mistakes were made. There mad, furious. They wished only they could play the canadiens right now at this moment...The Islanders will be ready for them. With vengence. Habs will fall left and right. The Islanders will be Men in this game. And after the game, we'll actually see some facial hair on the youngsters. Beards. Beards. Beards. Doug Weight, yes will lead them. Hair and all. Chalk up another in the win column. But this one will really count.

Win streak.

I've got a good feeling.

Considering our upcoming schedule, this is the team we need to snag an easy W off

les canadiens had some win yesterday.

There was a play where the Canadian media went ballistic, some calling for a suspension of Kozlov.
For those who haven't seen it yet. Kozlov and Gomez where skating towards a loose puck
and when Gomez stepped in front of Kozlov, Kozlov cross checked Gomez just enough to send him head first into the boards.

What they DIDN'T complain nor mention was Gomez' light stick work just prior.
Gomez ( a lefty shot) on the right of Kozlov, briefly brought his stick down and around, giving a very subtle slap-tug to Kozlov before stepping in front of him.
Moves like this are generally done when guys tie each other up, but it's frustrating none-the-less as it can throw you off balance.
I understood Kozlov's frustration but I do not understand how announcer's can not spot this stuff.

Anyway. The canadiens have been a one line team and I think we can pull this one off.
