Let's see if I have this right. Our first game of the season, and our home opener is against the defending Stanley Cup Champions. We then wait 5 days and get the opportunity to play the Senators in their home opener.
The NHL has just released a revise of our next three games:
1. We will play the NHL All Stars and everybody on the Isles has to wear someone else's skates.
2. Next, we take on the Russian Red Army team, reincarnated from 1980. We must also play with our sticks turned upside down.
3. We play the hated Rags, and everyone on the Isles will wear a half shield spray painted black.
You know what, screw the NHL and their treatment of this team. Let's ride into Ottawa and kick the living snot out of these greasebags.
