Ok, so I've pick up Madden 10. I've been playing the SuperStar mode. I find it's not as good a playing "be a pro" in NHL 09.

Madden just seems lame compared to NHL. Considering it's EA, I would have thought they would want to make it the best over the other sport games.

Creating the player sux. They "head" choices are the worst I think I seen since the PS1 days.

I haven't played Madden since 04 or 05...hockey just translates to video games better. Football is too complicated a game to be played by one person. Just my opinion though. Oh, that and I'm terrible at Madden.

I feel like Madden's Superstar mode has steadilly gotten worse since the orginal one....

This is the first one I've picked up since 05(used). I like the idea, but the execution is poor.

And the controls are getting to be a bit much.

After penalties, there's no time (12 sec on the play clock) to make adjustments. :angrier:

Oh well, just pick up Batman today. Madden may be shelved for a while. :yes:

Definately. Also, the online coop sucks. Its at such an odd angle. When the opposing team throws it you can't see where its going. Also, the achievements are hard. All-Pro??? Not everyone is a pro Madden player. My advice, boost with your friends.

The demo is just part of the begining. I've gone through on easy already, but have more Riddler trophies to find. Words just can't describe the feeling you get playing this (if your a big time Batman Fan).

I bought it...expecting to be blown away...but I gotta say so far I'm not. The combat & stalking are kinda monotonous...it's like fighting on auto pilot. The riddles don't make much sense so I dunno what the heck I'm supossed to take pictures of LOL.

I don't think I'm very far along though...just starting the botanical gardens.


I also d/l'd the NHL demo...and of course I still suck...played it 10 times and have yet to score a goal.

The things you have to scan are clues (when you have to go tracking someone) and "little spider" symbols you come across that give you taped recorded history of Arkham.

As far as stalking, I like that you can do different things to catch the thugs. From inverted captures to sneaking around in the floor vents.

Syb's keep playing and explore as much as you can. You may find it to better then.

yea but there are only 3 different ways to take 'em out....invert, fly kick, and sneak up behind. I mean it's a great looking game and it's kinda fun, but it's just a bit monotonous...

You can blow them up with the explosive gel. Lay traps. That's fun to watch. :D

But I understand what your saying. It's still head and shoulders above past Batman games.

FYI..i wasn't very far at all....only like 30% It has gotten much better with new gadgets and upgrades.

I love the zip line. Have you figured out solving the riddles yet?

not really...I just try to scan random stuff that looks like a riddle answer

It took me a bit, but it's not to hard once you figure it out. There's one room in the "Botanical Gardens" where the riddle is something about "What Mad Dog left behind".

There's a statue with a plaque at the base with Mad Dog scratched on it. Scan it, riddled solved. Most are pretty easy.

It when you unlock the challenges and try to beat the leader's scores and time, that's brutal.

I was in Gamestop today and the trade-in value of that game is 30 bucks.

I heard its easy to beat too. So if the multiplayer sucks, I suggest selling it while the value is so high.

BTW, is anyone getting Beatles: Rockband or Modern Warfare 2?

Easy on easy, but still enjoyable for me.

I meant brutal as in hard. There's no multi-player for Batman. Just challenges that scores are keep on line. How some of these people register some of these scores, is beyond me..

Well, I start on Friday (my Freshman year). I'm so friggin nervous. My PS3 crapped out so I got the slim because of a warranty I bought. I had 1 ring a couple of weeks ago, but it seemed to pass, knock on wood. I read the Xbox fail rate is 35%!!!!!! Way to be Microsoft!!!!
