Well, its that time of year again. NHL 2010 will be released on September 15. I was watching some videos on Youtube and it looks pretty sick.

2010 looks realllly sick. All the new features...damn....i'll get it the day it comes out, the first weekend it's out, my friends and I will probably drink eat and play all night long!

I haven't bought it since 07...I got tired of getting waxed by 10 year olds online. I just could not get the hang of it...although I have heard & read that last year's version was the best hockey game ever made.

Yeah. It seems whoever you play against is Jesus at the game.

I love playing Isles-Rags on rookie with the player and goalie advantages all the way to us and lighting them up for 25 goals. You should try it. It makes you feel really good.

In the meantime...you guys should download 'Splosion Man from the marketplace...it's a side-scrolling platformer game that is a sh!t ton of fun

I got it. Its amazing. The fighting is awesome. They let you do a Be a Pro game, and a regular game. In the Be-A-Pro, you can get drafted. I was drafted 1st Overall by the Islanders of Long Island.

I got it the day it came out...passing is tougher now that you have the ability to lead your teammate...works out pretty well if you're on the same page as the computer player though.

Yeah, they get intercepted so much. But Tavares isn't on the roster. I guess they'll have a roster update October 3rd-4th

Got the demo, but have not tried it yet.

I like Be A Pro a lot...although I got drafted by the Kings who score a ton of goals...WHEN MY GUY IS ON THE BENCH LOL. It's fun only having to control ONE guy...and u really think twice about taking a penalty when u have to sit in the box for 2 minutes watching the game (1st person). Glad I bought it...now bring on the roster updates !!!!!

ive been playing the demo, haven't bought the game since 02, changed a lot, too many buttons, i need to get used to this! I need to play the demo for another week or so then buy it, im on ps3

yea...'07 was the last one for me and I'm still struggling with this one. Although I wasn't very good @ '07 either. I think I am 3-15-1 online (xbox).

True Story Folks:

I was getting a new cable box, and when my step father came in to give it to me, I was just wrapping up an online game (a W btw), and to make room for the cable box I wanted to move my old PS2 that I haven't turned on in 18 months. So while unplugging my PS2 I move my Xbox about a foot...bad idea.

"Disc unreadable" error on the screen, take the disc out. Perfect Circle Scratch. I moved the system less than a foot and it ruined my disc.

Good news: I called Best Buy and within 30 days they'll take an exchange no questions asked.

Advice: If you start a game, and play it often, install the game on your harddrive. I'm pretty sure when you're just about done playing it (like when NHL 11 comes out) you can delete the game info from the system and still have the disc to play off of. Do this before you end up with a perfect circle.

You can install games to your hard drive on xbox? How? I have NHL 08 and I love the new controls. I want 10... I should get it....
