Former Brampton Battalion Winger Signs One-Year Contract

Bridgeport, Conn., June 11, 2009 - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers have announced the signing of Jason Dale to a one-year, two-way American Hockey League contract.
Dale played the last three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League, skating for the Brampton Battalion. The 5-11, 182 pound right wing posted 34 goals and 59 assists for 93 points in 185 career games. Dale, a native of Scarborough, ON, had his most productive year with the Battalion last season, scoring 43 points (18 goals and 25 assists). The Battalion qualified for the OHL Playoffs in each of Dale’s three years, including this past season when they won the Eastern Conference Championship, before falling to the Windsor Spitfires in the J. Ross Robertson Cup Finals. Dale compiled four goals and nine assists for 13 points in 30 career playoff games.
