Don't worry, we're all getting the shaft tonight. The game was scheduled to be in HD, but switched over to barely visible - D at the last minute.
You would think that since MSG is paying us so much for the TV rights that they would feature us prominently and try to get a return on their investment. I should run this show.

The Leafs announcers were just questioning why the Islanders wouldn't send Bailey back to junior for the remainder of the year. His Windsor Spitfires are one of the top teams in the CHL, and the addition of Bailey could make them a championship team (if they aren't already). Their rationale is that Bailey's development would be better served by going back and leading a team to a championship, rather than playing out the string with the Islanders. They make a decent point.
Not much else to talk about in this game...

Witt elbowed Hagman. It was a race for the puck and Witt didn't have a stick and plowed right through Hagman with an elbow to the jaw, that could've knocked him out, but he got back up and and left. They gave him a 5 minute major whioch was the difference.
