Did you see him whining about being pushed around by the Caps after the game? LOL. You're a hockey player Crosby!

Ovechkin is my hero.

It is so obvious that Crosby is just frustrated because he doens't know how to handle the collapse of his team.

Putting the fact that he IS, without a doubt, the best player in the world aside for a second; the guy's attitude & enthusiasm are remarkable !!! ...he's having a hell of a lot of fun, and that just makes him impossible not to like.

He's out of the game tonight as well as Whitney.

Damn, I'd love to see the boys won and in the event we lost,
it's not so bad as the pens will inch closer to pushing the raggies outta the playoffs.

win win.

You don't understand how much I hate watching games on msg + 2. That channel friggen blows. I have to put the volume on 88 just to hear anything then when I switch channels at commercial my ear drums bleed because all the other channels are so loud. I'm kind of interested in watching the Raggies tonight. Wouldn't it be so awesome if they lost 8-0 and Torts threw stuff all over the ice??? Please Please!!!!

BTW I can't believe it but I am going to both tomorrow nights game and Saturday...I am a glutton for punishment!

Sucks, but excellent effort. These kids are looking like something special.

3POTI - February 26, 2009 03:54 AM (GMT)
actually forgot about the game...turned it on with about 4min to go in third...then they score, oops, guess I wish I still forgot about the game..tough break, looks like I missed a pretty good game. oh well, can't win 'em all. better luck next game.

Webb20 - February 26, 2009 02:09 PM (GMT)
Isnt this what everyone wants. We play a good game, play very well defensively, have great goaltending and still lose in route to the draft?

Danis was great last night even in the loss. We need scoring and hopefully with the maturity of the kid line, and the addition of a high powered forward at the draft we'll see a much better season next year.

stevedepot - February 26, 2009 02:49 PM (GMT)
Damn, on that Sykora goal, Bailey and Comeau were both out of position and Okposo looked slow getting back to try and pick up Sykora in the slot.

Other than that goal, the team gave it a good run.
Witt, someone I have been complaining about all year had a monster game.
Love the edge that has returned to his game lately.

But it was all about Danis and our defense in front of him.
under 30 shots against and Danis looked solid.

Good call Nick, this is what we wanted. Hope for the future from these kids competing for next year and beyond and at the end of the day, good position for the lottery.

It is what everyone should want Webb. We're playing well.....some of our kids are looking good. the defense is playing better and we're losing.

This is a perfect scenario IMO.

Yea, I dont miss Comrie at all.

But McAmmond is taking up a spot we should be using to take a look at another youngster like McLean or Smith.

The way things have gone this year...
The next HIP injury report might include a promotion.
