What a crappy game that was. The only thing that saved it was the final 8 minutes. For 3.5 quarters the Cardinals played like idiots who should be cut from the Helen Keller HS JV team. How many times did they keep that Steeler drive alive with personal fouls? Three times including on the field goal? The Cards deserved to lose because they did nothing for 3+ quarters and finally got their act together but too late.

As for the Steelers, how can you outplay a team that badly, but play like a bunch of imbeciles in the red zone. Three trips inside the 10 only to come away with field goals? If it weren't for that pick and return to end the first half, they would have trailed at half after dominating it.

I know Larry Fitzg is da man, but how do you let him run right down broadway in the 4th quater playing a deep cover two to take the lead away.

It was just a sloppy, poorly played game that fortunately had some excitement in the final 8 minutes. Otherwise, it would rank with SB 5 as one of the worst ever played.

The Steelers did that all year. Stalled in the red zone and were terrible in short yardage. That is what made their defensive numbers (during the season) that more incredible.
