Title: LW - Sean Bergenheim
Webb20 - December 3, 2008 07:23 PM (GMT)
This week we'll discuss Sean Bergenheim. There's no argument that Bergie is full of energy and always non-stop. He's been playing with our two most veteran players in Guerin and Weight.

I think Bergy has done what is expected of him. He seems to have gotten that hot headedness under better control. Early in the season he was in the sin bin what seemed like twice a game.

Can you say Ari Haanpaa :goofy2:

I had to be honest and vote below expectations.
He's one of my favorites.
He's worked very hard in all 3 zones exactly as I expected, but even though he's not
getting powerplay minutes and isn't the owner of the softest hands in the league, I still expected him to have slightly higher offensive numbers.
that said, i think this guy will be a favorite here for a long time.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaay, way below....he skates like he has no control out there. sean bergenheim has been a major disappoint so far this season. perhaps its because he's playing with the oldtimers :dontknow:

love the kid , but he's not suited to be on that line with weight and billy
I'd rather see him on an energy line with park and hilbert where they can capitalize on turnovers

wow,
I'm surprised there are many people who voted "as expected".
Didn't we all expect him to have better numbers this year?
He gets a pass, but slightly because his work ethic is phenomenal.
But we already knew that. We knew he goes at 100 miles an hour
and it's unfortunate that his hands can't catch up to his heart, otherwise,
he could be in our top 3 in scoring.
Seems it's more about timing with him. Patience will pay off with this kind of player
because his fundamentals are sound. But that doesn't mean we can look past his production.

Steve, I think most of us know we have a non-stop, always full throttle player with hands that hold him back and it's pretty much what we've seen so far this year. To me he's exactly as expected.

I think this guy has peaked in terms of development, but he does a good job in a limited role, brings effort every night, and is young enough to ride out the next several years and contribute when we're back on the way up.
