Title: Sound Tigers 4 Wolfpack 1
Description: went to the the game last night

Me and 3 of my friends went down to the game last night and had a good time. For $36, we were second row right on the ice.
Dannis was the star of the game as he stopped 45 of 46 shots. They really outplay us for most of the game but Dannis kept us in it. We scored all 4 of our goals in the 3rd.
Some notes/observations:
1. Sillinger scored, played the pk and looked good. Looked Paul Newman old compared to all the young guys, though, Wotton, captain of the team, is also in his mid 30's.
2. Comeau played with Silly all game, looked good too and made a beautiful pass and play to set up Sillys goal. Showed many of the intangibles that made many of us impressed by him, including a big hit that plastered Sanguenetti late in the game, that popped open the door.
3. Jesse Joensu looked real big but lanky, long big in person but also looked quite clumsy and obviously needs some work.
4. Trevor Smith centers the number 1 line with Iggulden, the leading scorer and looked solid. Nothing spectacular.
5. Star of game once again was Dannis. Id say Ben Walter, remember him, was number 2 since he had G and an A and this kid Tyler Haskins had a very nice SH goal on a breakaway so he'd get my 3rd star.
HIGHLIGHT of the night were the auctions they had. They had an Okposo game used, a Joey Mac Detroit catching glove, a signed Bruno Bobblehead but the highlight for me was the pair of game used gloves signed by last years team.
I snagged them for only $100. They were signed by Okposo, right on the thumb, by Joey Mac, Comeau, Franz and unfortunately Tambellini. I need to figure out some of the others.
Really is a fun atmosphere, especially for the kids. Since arena only 40 minutes from me, I look forward to taking my boys when they get a little older.

I wonder if Danis should get another call up to get a couple more starts.....I'm afraid we may be burning out Joey Mac....

You bring up a good point. What would we be saying about the workload if it was DP who just started a dozen or more games in a row?

Logan reports that Danis is called and Mannino is back at Bridge.......
Joey gets a 4 day rest after today so they'll keep playin' him....
With back-to-backs in TO (I'm at that game) and Philly on Dec 8/9, I would hope Danis gets one of those....

I truly like Mike Sillinger, but I think it's time we went younger and faster, not older and slower.
