Title: Scanlines

Horizontal Scanlines
Step 1. Open a 1x2 pixel image. Make sure it is transparent.
Step 2. Zoom into 1600. Select your pencil tool and fill in the lower square.

Step 3. Now go to edit > define pattern. Name it and you’re done!

Vertical Scanlines
Step 1. Open a 2x1 image. Again make sure it is transparent.
Step 2. Zoom into 1600. Select your pencil tool and fill in the right square.

Step 3. Now go to edit > define pattern. Name it and you’re done!

Diagonal Scanlines
Step 1. Open a new image3x3. Once again, make sure it is transparent.
Step 2. Zoom into 1600. Select the pencil tool, and make a diagonal line across the image like below:

Step 3. Now go to edit > define pattern. Name it and you’re done!
Putting them into an image
Step 1. Open any image you wish to place it on. We will be using our Alien Egg picture from our tutorial.
Step 2. Make a new layer over your image. Then go to layer > New fill layer > Pattern. Choose your pattern and your done!

After you define pattern make a new layer,fill in with your pattern, and then on the layers options make it say overlay and your done...

one question im using imageready cause my photoshop is extremely weird so how the hell do i do all this from imageready, i got the whole making th lines part but when it comes to putting it on a image........er guess again i have no clue how to
