Ehh...the V5 is OK, but the V3 has some funky rear fender, huh? Oh, and the "fin" on the muffler has got to go...on both models!

Cool looking bikes, and thank heavens no solid rear wheels :D

Does this look a little BMW to anyone else?

I don't know about the cruiser style as the traditional exposed engine is part of the cruiser appeal however the sports style is good. They could really think about a tourer with internal luggage and the 500cc engine with CVT and delete the "Pull Start" and 4 wheel drive. Seems a lot of internal space is wasted but I don't really know.

Absolutly !! Thats the first thing I thought when I saw this photo...

Your right about the "traditional" look for a crusier, but none of the single cylinder engines would look right being exposed.I think for the "urban street" bike market that they are going after that this look is right on...

Did anyone notice that is the rocker cover right under the seat? You will have a nice warm bottom in winter but summer could be another story. I hope the seat is thick. That whole engine moves with the rear suspension.

I saw some of the ones with all the sport body work on them to day and they were called Legends. In person they look like something you buy at walmart and plug in to recharge.

Environmentally friendly electric scoots??? Only thing better is modern steam. I can't say I'm a fan of the style.

^_^
This is the same style of bike as the Qlink brand. I am already developing accessories for it. CBXMan and I are designing a touring model and a performance upgrade system as well. I just drove one yesterday - surprisingly agile and comfortable. I'm a big guy - around 240 lbs. - it had no power issues with my big butt on it. (I have this image of squishing bikes when I get on them - always surprised when it doesn't happen :P )
Anyway - we are knee-deep into this bike - :D :D

The 500cc version sounds very interesting. Ought to be able to haul Dave's big butt and a small passenger! :smack:

Does this mean the engine and drive train all bounce simultaneously with the wheel/tire assembly? And the muffler, is it attached to all this as well? I'd think road vibrations and jarring would be damaging to the drivetrain longevity...

Look familiar???

It's sold in Australia as the Arqin V5
obxbiker - April 4, 2008 04:28 AM (GMT)
It appears then that QLink, CFMoto and Arqin are all produced by the same parent Chinese co.
If I remember right its the largest producer in China (& the world ??)
In the GENERAL MOTORCYCLE NEWS I posted an article showing there ranking.
