Title: New Member Venox Question..
Description: I needed to know how to access the spark
coolcruiser7 - May 31, 2008 05:09 PM (GMT)
There isn't much clearance in accessing the spark plugs on the Kymco Venox. I was told that the fuel tank has to come off. What do I need to do to get the tank off ? Spark plugs should be cleaned and checked frequently so it seems a huge inconvenience to remove the fuel tank every time the plugs have to be accessed. Are there any quick solutions and if not how easy is it to remove the tank ?

One of our 'on site' mechanics will be able to answer your question..pops..tony_dt and others.
While you wait how about a little more info: who/what/why/where.. etc about coolcriuser7 and his/her Venox ?

If there is not a sub album already there, go ahead and add one with as many sub albums as you wish. Tag the pics with as many tags as you want to help tell a story with the pic. , it will also be picked up when anyone searches photobucket for that tag. Great way to advertise your bike, the brand and PIWYR !
There are some ''how to'' topics and login links at the top there.
THEN request your own personal MEMBER GALLERY/FORUM and we can set up a topper slideshow where you can add more pics to it as you have them. We can then also add this link to each of your posts.

which will take everyone straight to your own personal MEMBER GALLERY/FORUM where YOU control the topics and whats in them. Its your own personal space.

:old: :piwyrwelcome: Glad you made it, I told you about removing the tank, even with my special wrenchs it is hard. I have loosened it up and put a two by four under the back and did it that way. Maybe you can figure out a better way we would be interested in hearing it. At present I am not working on them anymore but do work on mine.

:old: That is the wrench and with the Hex extensions I am able to remove Venox plugs. You can do it with tank on but you will need to block it up some and there is no room on front plug. It is a pain either way I just found that taking tank off helped. Tools is tools besides I have a teen age son and have to set a good example so can not post any girlie pictures.
