Hello everyone, it's my first topic :cool:
I'm Italian and got a 2005 Venox.
He was soo good and i like it much, but he can't reach over 115kph in 5^ gear.
In 3^ gear reach 120kph and 125/140 in 4^ but when i put the 5^ it's dropped to ~115kph!
What is the problem? I wanna buy the sprocket kit for solve the problem, cause i think he not reach a reasonable rpm whit 5^ gear. He stopped a low rpm and not go up like other gears.

5th gear is a non pulling gear, an ''overdrive'' meant for maximum cruising speed mpg. :moto:

The Sprocket IS :okthumb: the ''cure'' ! ! Get it you will be glad/happy etc you did. :snoopy:

''the great V'' is another Italian Venox PIWYR Member.

He has the VENOX 250i , do you have the carb or fuel injected ?

Imported to AU untill 2002 as the Honda VT250C ...stopped making.
(that was the year they 'redid it' and Kymco came out with the Venox)

Basicly the same bike but with new updated engine, all new body work , larger gas tank and different seat.
(Kymco for 50 years parts/acc. manufactor for Honda)

The only quick give away is the exhaust.....none other like it.

That did it for me! That exhaust really does stand out.

The really embarassing bit is, I actually considered the VT250C when I was buying :oops: - the twin icecream cones are certainly distinctive and a feature I liked, I struck it off the list because of the tank-mounted guage, not into retro.
