Description: New

Not sure if any of you folks have seen the new speedometer that is now coming on the 08 GV250 Models. Was at my dealer today and saw it, so I snapped a picture with my cell phone.

Looks nice from that view...the old one was just a traditional round type, analog..right ?

Here's a pic of the original for comparison:

It looks the same as on the Anniversary model GV650

I wonder what the Positive / Negatives are of the digital display.

would suggest the most glaring con is NO TACHO :furious:
It may be a 250 but its still a SPORTS cruiser

I could never understand why they would not include a tacho.
Then again, I guess alot of other cruisers don't have a tacho. :There, there..:

Hello,
I ordered a GV 250 from the local dealer. I picked it up last Saturday & was disappointed that it didn't have the analog displays & NO Tach! The display appears to be the same as the 650 & is easy to view in bright sunlight but in my opinion, a motorcycle has to have a tach. The Hyosung web site still shows the GV 250 with analog displays.
Other than that, I'm quite pleased at this point (knock on wood) & can't wait to get past the break in point (250 miles on it so far).
