Title: New light bar for my GV250 from Larry (LCC)
Description: Anyone know where I can find the lights?
Dragonryder - March 8, 2008 04:31 AM (GMT)
My light bar is on the way. :woohoo: I ordered it from Larry Cook. With the windshield, I felt that I needed something a little wider than the ones made for the bike regularly. This one is a little wider. It has the turn signal relocators built in so that won't be a problem. I still need to find the lights to put on it. Does anyone know where I can find some. I've looked around and found a few. Will post pictures as soon as I can.
Right know we're getting pounded by 12-15 inches of snow. Not good biking weather. :crap: :bawl: :crap:

Cant help you with the lights John but I felt a touch of envy when you mentioned the snow.
Right now we are in our 6th consecutive day of temperatures over 35 degrees celcius (or around 100 degrees fahrenheit in your part of the world). They say it will continue for at least another five days before we see any relief and there's been no real rain for months.
Uncomfortable to ride on both sides of the world!

I'd be more than happy to send you a bunch of this stuff around here.  I guess it goes from one extremes to the other. :( Sorry to hear that. We've had a few bouts like that as well. In the midwest we tend to see just about everything. The saying here in Ohio is: "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute. It'll change." And it does seem to be true here.

Well, I bought two from a guy on e-bay. They are chrome and 30 watts each. I figure that my main light is only 35 watts and it gives me plenty of light. This way it will be less drain on the battery. I don't do much night riding, I just really like the looks so they should work out just fine. With tax, shipping and everything they cost me $85 US. So total price for light bar was $185 and the bar is custom to my bike. As soon as I get the lights and mount them, I will post pictures. This weekend looks like it has possibilities for some riding time. :woohoo: :snoopy: :woohoo: :snoopy: :moto:
Sunny and mid 50's Saturday and Sunday. Next week is high 50s to low 60s but a lot of rain. :UKrain: :Ack!!!!!:
:PICS?: :camera: coming soon!!!
