Title: New WingerLine Highway Bars due tomorrow
Description: Will post pictures soon

My highway bar is due to arrive tomorrow. It is a WingerLine. I like the looks of it in the picture and have been reading some good things about it on the net. Will post pictures as soon as I get it installed, probably Friday or Saturday. Below is a link for the site that I bought them off of. They were fairly inexpensive.

Thanks George, I forgot to mention the backrest with the package tray. They seem to have some good prices. These were the only two Hyosung specific items I could find on there site but I did notice that they have good prices on other accessories that may be made to work on the Hyo or the Venox. Seem like nice people as well. I sent e-mails and called on the phone and they answered both promptly. They did mention that they hope to get more items for the GV's soon. Check them out. :ok:

Shipping time was not bad, a little over a week.

And thanks for adding the picture. :ok:

I'm hoping to add some Kuryakyn Lonhorn offset highway bars when I recover from my latest shopping spree. I'm working on getting a light bar from either Larry Cook or JC Whitney's. That is my next accessory to add. :ok: :ok: :ok:

Dragonryder you are blinging out your ride big time. Pretty soon you'll have to do the stage 1 kit just to carry all of your accessories  What next - Nitrous? :smack: Seriously, post pics. I plan to when I get mine back from the dealer.

I will post plenty of pics. I do want to add the stage one set-up, I'm just not sure if that will hurt the warranty or not. If it doesn't, I'm on it. :ok:

I'll have to check with my dealer.

Okay, I got the bars yesterday. I really like the way they look and feel very heavy duty. Haven't had much time to look them over good but I'm totally confused on how to install them. They did not come with instructions. I tried to find a net site for WingerLine but have had no such luck. Every bar I have seen with this shape has always had the small end at the bottom so's not to scrape them going around the corner but the only way I can see to install these are to put the wide end on the bottom. If that's the way they install, I'm sending them back. I should have more time either tonight or tomorrow to look at these better but as for now, I'm stumped.   Anyone have any suggestions???

Well, that's what I was thinking. I need to sit down and really look it over. Should have known that when something says easy to install, it is going to be a bear to install. You'd think I'd learn from experience.   I contacted the company that I bought them from, let's see if they get back with me first of all and then to see if they have an answer. I hate when things come without instructions.

Maybe it's not as hard as I've made it out to be. <_< I was tired when I looked at it late last night. I'll give it another go either tonight or tomorrow morning. :P

Well, I figured out how the bars fit. It is a terrible design. The picture is upside down. The wide end goes on the bottom. The narrow end has two mounting tabs. They go on the outside of the plastic covers below the gas tank. It looked cheap and toylike. I kind of liked the design and the way they looked on the bike but I couldn't stand the way they mounted. Sooo, I had to do some modifying. I cut the two small tabs off and welded a mount in the middle of the narrow flat end. I mounted it using the radiator bolts, which is mounted to the frame. By the time I was done, it is extremely solid and looks pretty good if I do say so myself. It looks like it was made this way. I will post pictures as soon as I can. I have to milk another post out of this, George is running away with the count.

By the way, after I finished installing the highway bars, I had time for a one hour ride. Man did it feel good. It reminded me how good it feels to ride again. We had sun shine and 57 degrees today. Tomorrow, we are supposed to reach 63 but rain all day. The rest of the week will be in the low 40's and 30's.

For my next install, I have ordered the lightbar, like the one on the HardParts website, from Larry Cook. Will show that when I get it mounted. Can't wait. I'm almost done with what I wanted to do with my bike. I really like everything I have added. Just doing a little at a time.
