Description: Might be worth checking into.

Hey all, As you probably know, I've been looking around for a replacement for my km speedometer. I sent an e-mail to a company in Pennsylvania called Powl Speedometers and I just heard back from them. I've heard some good things about them from some other bikers and car guys.

Attached is the e-mail from them:

yes we can convert and calibrate your instruments, PLease call for details and pricing Thanks Ricky 717-898-2552

There web site is: http://www.powls-speedometer.com/

I will call them and try to get a price as soon as I can. I'll keep you posted.

Before I call, I was wondering if anyone knows what information I will need. I was thinking that I would need the tire sizes but I'm not sure what other info I will need. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what info I will need?

At some time their was a post (@ACD ?) about just changing the 'face' of the dial.

This should be all you really need.(??)

Heres a pic of where a CLUBVENOX member made a custom face plate.

Yes George there is a thread on that topic at ACD. There is also one here with some different art work. :D

The only problem is making the plate thin enough to allow proper light through for night riding (riding at night, not Knight Riding with David Hasselhoff) :lolsign:

You could always also do this mod:

NEON SPEEDO, for venox (photo's)
