This a GT650 Project bike that was built by the crew from The Australian Road Rider magazine which is proberly the best all round road motorcycle magazine in Australia. They cover all aspects of motorcycles in Oz without any of the negitive attitudes that the others tend to have with our bikes (e.g if it isnt a Ducati/Harley its not worth writing about). The article is from the Jan/Feb 2008 edition. The Nightfighter was built over a fairly long time period, I think the GT650 in question is a silver framed 06 model. The idea was to develope a street bike that has very little in the way of over the counter accessaries available, the end result was not a radical transformation but an extremely practical bike for every day use. It has quite a few mods that will be interesting for both the GT and GV types. :evilgrin1:

I like it. I wonder why they changed the front forks though, I would have thought a change of oil, a little extra preload on the spring and adjust the shocks to suit the rider. Oh well.
I like the instruments too! Does it come in chrome?

that looks pretty interesting especially the tank...I was thinking of wrapping the tank on my bike sort of like that...I just don't have any kind of sewing skills...I might try it anyway.
