Are Venox engine (crash) bars available anywhere in the U.S? My dealer says they aren't available anymore.

Are Venox engine (crash) bars available anywhere in the U.S?  My dealer says they aren't available anymore.

They were imported from Spain (SPAAN co.) and Kymcousa dropped them with out sourcing a new supply. If you check all the dealers you might find one....Tony,pops do your shops have any ?

How about an into post on the WELCOME NEW MEMBER board.
Telling us 'your life history'.

George,
You are correct. Have not been able to order the spaan stuff for a while now.
KymcoUSA used to carry the engine guards and passenger backrests. There might be a dealer out there that still has a left over. I will keep an eye out for one.

Thanks!
Tony

I believe the are still being used in EU.

As a last resort you could check with CLUBVENOX (its in Spainish) in Spain as that is where I originally found it and told Kymcousa about the products.

It is a shame that they would drop it so long ago and NOT have an alternative resource by now !

As an alternative...

I have the "highway bars" from KYM on my black Venox but used the MC ENTERPRISES universal bars with pegs for my yellow venox. They also come with "O"ring pegs but I switched with a larger peg that I already had.

The engine guards make a handy perch for highway pegs, but the most important thing is the safety factor. My 1st set of bars saved my Venox from a lot of damage when It flipped upside down and slid 10 ft to a stop. I replaced the headlight, rt mirror and rt engine guard. The old guard was repairable, but they were available at the time...
