That's it...I had given up on the claiming grounds, no good could come from there. Or the Willow Groves, nope. All you got there was a foal, wanted or not. I was sick of stallions, sick of all their ridiculous habits. I considered myself lucky to have been left by Oryx, nothing a good kick the chest won't do. But now it was time to take matters in my own hands, run my own land and rule over my home. So that's why I came to the dark lands of Hopeless Hearts. With only three lands left, it was either mountains, caves or a forest. So I chose the forest. I knew I was taking a big risk with Witch by my side, for wolf prints scatter the lands. And in the dawn and dusk, thick fog concealed us and we could easily be seperated even if we stood two feet from each other.
I took my strides with grace, I wasn't going to let another stallion break me down like I had before. My tail was lifted as well, thanks to my foal heat. But at least that Onyx or Agni weren't around... The wide set trees and lack of usual forest undergrowth was perfect for me, not snagging on my mane, tassle or feathers. After exploring these lands, I found no water source except for large drops of dew gathering on smooth rocks and leaves. It was enough for me, even when in the middle of the day the land was dry as the fog dissappeared.
Coming through a path of trees, the forest opens up to a small meadow large enough to feed a small herd in good conditions. Coming in to this meadow, I reared up onto my hind pillars. Tucking my front daggers to my chest, I screamed out to let any living soul within the lands hear and understand me. "I, Beautiful Disaster, take these lands as my own! I dare any intruder to challenge me, regardless of gender or strength. I shall protect these lands and its inhabitants like any other leader, and I shall dub this land Sylveria Forest!"
