Title: So. An Update On Essdee's Life?

Spirit Dancer - April 25, 2008 11:04 PM (GMT)
My life's been a bit of turmoil as of late. But, every thing's starting to settle down and getting into order.

Anyways, today was...interesting.

I participated in the Day Of Silence, (and still participating at this moment until 8 a.m. tomorrow morning). Almost all of the kids I came across in my classes today had no idea what DOS was. So, I carried around a paper explaining what it was and what the silent people were doing it for. Since, after all, I wasn't alone today. I know of atleast 5 other people who participated with me.

My teachers, except one, weren't very...understanding. I got sent to the Principal's office once, threatened with it another time, and just ignored the third time. Only one teacher was cool about it - he thought that we, because one of my best friends, Kristine, is in the class and was participating with me, were doing something great. He's earned himself some kudo points today. ;D

But, there were a few - uhm, jerk-ish people today. One girl in my last period asked if I was a lesbian since I was doing the DOS thing, and numerous others mentioned something about me being a lesbian and another girl accused me dating one of my bi-sexual girl friends. Kristine, my bi-sexual friend who participated with me, heard about it and let me know. So, most of today we decide to mess with the closed-minded kids and walked around holding hands and stuff.

Hehe. I love messing with the ignorant people at my school. <3 They are my Anti-drug, I swear.

Also, I've begun to start riding my Thoroughbred gelding again. I never realized how much I missed riding him until last weekend. And I got a kick out of one of my bestest friends, because I put her up on Bubba - since she doesn't believe me about the who "long drop" thing - and she was like: "Whoa. You weren't joking." Since, after all, Bubba is just shy of 18 hands.

And he's looking absolutely breathtaking. <3 He is my handsome studmuffin that takes everyone's breath away when they see him. I'll download pictures from last weekend and put them up here for ya'll to see. Mkay?

-FIN-

So, here's the pictures I promised you. Keep in mind that I stand at 5 foot 7 inches. My dad, the man walking beside Bubba in one of the pictures, is just about 6 foot 4 inches.

So I'm not lying to you guys when I say Bubba's just shy of 18 hands. ^^;

Alright, several response to this:

x. Glad to see that things are getting a little better for you
x. Why do teachers always get upset over the simplest things? You talk in there class, you get in trouble. You don't, and you still get in trouble O.o
x. People can be so ignorant -.- Just because your friends with someone who isn't straight, they think automatically your the same. Not the case I know so many people including myself that could prove them differently, lol...
x. Bubba IS big! And purty...

=)

I heard about the DOS thing too. I respect it and everything, I jsut don't feel like I would've held true to it. <33

Bubba is so pretty! And big! xD
Everyone wears helmets when they ride. I should probably start doing that.. o.o

lmao. Not alot of people can; I've got another 8 hours to go.

Yurr, he is, isn't he? x3 I only wear a helmet when I ride Bubba. When I ride my Egyptian Arabian or another horse, I don't. xD Or I wear my cowboy hat.

I was never taught to, since my whole horse family has ridden for pleasure in Western for generations. None of that fancy-schmancy stuff. x3

My mom and uncle used to play Cowboys and Indians bareback on their ponies. xDD

Tehehe. I remember doing that with my godmother's kids. <_<

I don't show anymore. I had to quit when we moved, and the doctor's ordered me to. I used to barrel race with a QHxArabian gelding, but I've messed up my back from falling off and being dragged and crazy stuff like that. So, they want to see if my back'll heal if I don't barrel race for a year or so.

Ooh...he is big. And is that SD wearing glasses?? I have a friend!!!

I think one of the kids at my school was doing something similar to that, but not exactly. He just decided to not talk during school the entire day to raise awareness about something or other.

Glad to hear you're feeling better!
