I wasn't supposed to be here.

I knew exactly where I was in this world. And that was bad.

It was the Grove. Where loves came to tie the knot, so to speak. And innocent mares came to await their fates. And stallions lurked, just waiting to prey on them, force them to bear a son or daughter.

And I was one of those mares. One of those poor, pitiful wenches who had nothing better to do that go and get knocked up by some ruffian. But I had better things to do. I had to get out of here, go back to the Riverbed. I had to live my life without children. I couldn't do this! Not now! It went all against my motto, my way of life. And Halcon was gone too, for some unknown reason. He just didn't follow. So I had no one.

"I've gotta get out of here," I growled, becoming more and more lost in the forest of willows. "Privacy, my tail. There's no way out of here!" I snorted as I came to a stop. My only hope was that someone who was kind enough to lead me out of here would find me, instead of some stud. With auds pricked as far as they could stand, I stepped forward, going slowly, entire body alert and ready to run.

Even though I had another mare that I cared for, I needed to remind myself of the dark I was. My hungry brown eyes came upon the Grove. The place I loved to be in, to lurk and feed upon lonely mares. Letting my ears fold against my head, palomino bodice wound through the tight knit trees. My flaxen tail lashed out and snagged on some branches. Snorting, I tore away from the growth's clutches and kept going. Letting my hooves step quietly, I was near silent. My body grew tense with excitement. Snorting, I let myself smell for mares.

Not a far distance away, I smelt a mare. Moving my gypsy vanner muscles work my way up to her, I licked my lips. Delicious. I thought deviously. She looked like she was scared and wanted to run, but I wouldn't let that help. "Hello there sweety," I whispered with my eyes glowing. Stepping up to her, I let my head nod in greeting as I grinned. Moving my weight back and forth, I snorted. "What's a pretty thing like you doing here?" I asked, my hissing tones slicing through the thick breeding air. Her red coat caught my interest in the first place, made me want her more. Stepping closer, I let my grin calm a bit.

ooc; Eh, it's short.

"Get away from me, you creep!" I lashed out with a hind leg, hoping to catch this brute somewhere where it hurt, and scooted a few steps away. I knew perfectly well why he was here, and wasn't too happy about it. I could tell that my bloodred hide made me near irresistible, and for the moment I cursed my parents' genes. Then I cursed my own foolishness at coming here. "I never meant to come here, ruffian," I snarled, flashing pearly ivories. "Come any closer, and I'll show you what I did to the others who tried to court me." Except Omen, I thought. He was the only one I would let be the father of any of my foals. But he wasn't here. Just this rogue who had only one thing in mind. I swung my hind away from him, legs tensing, ready to run. If he tried anything, I would put up a huge fight.

I let the leg hit my chest. Wincing for just a second, I shook my muzzle and stepped closer. "I am not a creep," I hissed out, letting muzzle touch her back softly. I didn't care if she kicked me or not, I was a bit larger then her with a bit mroe muscle, so it didn't really matter. "If your intentions were not here, then why the hell have you stepped foot?" I hissed, stepping closer to her. When she swung around, facing me, I smirked. Her pretty little face lit up my unique taste of interest. "Others? Ha, none could be as good as me anyway," rolling my brown optics, I chuckled. Obviously, the mare had come for a reason and it wasn't just for a stroll. Stepping off to the side of her, I nipped at her shoulder, lightly before giving her a daring glance. Moving closer to her back, I turned my backside away from her head so really only my chest faced her side.

I whirled around to face the brute snarling in rage. "Don't go behind me!" I growled. "Why do you want to know? And all the others I've messed with were a lot better than you, you hessian. Run back to your little family, if you've managed to scrounge one up--no, you haven't! In that case, go back to wherever you came from. Leave me alone!" I took off at a trot, daring him to follow, but hoping he wouldn't.
