I am not the largest of mares, but I can assure I am damn well one of the prettiest. What's that? You don't believe me? Ha, what stallion could resist such a lovely mare? A coat of rich chestnut, tassles of fiery red, long pillars and luxorious curves that some mares would simply die to have. I have been blessed with the beauty, yes I shall admit that. Though it is a hassle at times, to deal with many a brute that wish for me that aren't even worth my time. The majority of this reason is because my heart is still partially taken, stolen by the one brute who has managed to put up with my demanding attitude. Criss...Seperated several years ago, I have been searching for him since. Though I am sure he has forgotten about me, so I've still gotten myself into a few other relationships as well. Long story short, if your a stallion that I want, I will get you. If not, don't except even a glance from me.

I am spoiled, you'll probably come to learn that quickly. I know how to get what I want, whether it is by flirting with stallions or by arguements with mares. And if I don't get what I want, obviously it isn't worth my time and I move onto something else in seconds. But I have yet to get over the stallion I have been searching for, and so far his trail have lead me to this lands. It's been ages since his scent was so strong, and there was no mistaking it was him. Only problem was, I had to get into the lands without any problems. First thing for that is to get on the alpha's decent side.

Ivory daggers pranced about for a moment of excitement and impatience, before calming myself and raising my dished crown. Calling out a sweet melody, I hoped that the alpha would arrive soon. Tassle raised proudly, neck arching gracefully. Obviously I am but a pure Egyptian Arabian. Now what was a lovely mare such as myself doing looking for a stallion like Criss? So young I was compared to him, for I knew his true age, and I knew the brute was at least four years older than I. Simple, I wanted him. I wanted him so other mares could not have him, and I succeeded in capturing his heart once before. Sadly my own heart was captured, and I fell for him more than I had ever expected too. What can I say? He's attractive, funny, a gentleman when needed, entertaining, attractive, interesting, caring, and did I mention attractive? Call me shallow, but I least I found out there was more to him than just his appearance. Although for me its a big bonus... And if Criss is here, and any other mare has taken interest in him, it's time to say 'good bye little missy'. He's mine.

The alpha's large peach hooves dug slightly into the land as he trotted forward towards the small femme. He wasn't really looking at her, so he was a bit taken aback when he fully took in her beauty. Sure, it was breathtaking, but he wasn't really interested in that kind of stuff. He was still a stallion, though. "Why, hello," he murmured when he reached her. He noticed how she seemed jumpy and how she kept looking anxiously to the horizon over his shoulder. "Um, can I help you?" he asked. "You seem to be looking for something?"

As the larger stallion approached me, I looked him over once before answering his question. He had better be the alpha, and not some random stallion from the herd pretending to be so. Terrible how some stallions would actually do that, no? Anyways, I gave one final glance past him before arching my neck to tuck my muzzle towards my chest in greeting. As the stallion got closer, it was though I got hit in the face with my Angel's scent, brought here from simply being around the bulkier stallion.

"Hello...My name is Krimzen Kayala, and yes, you may be able to help me. Not really something, I am looking for someone, and I have been for some time. Is there a stallion here named Criss? Well, of course he must be here, I can smell him, unless my sense of smell is mistaking me. And I don't believe I know your name, either."

I kept my manners as polite as I possibly could, now was not the time to truely 'be myself'. Otherwise, the brute in front of me would probably deny my entrance and send me on my way on the spot. But I wasn't going to leave until I could at least, see and talk with Criss...Possessive? Maybe a little, but doesn't a mare have a right to be? Stallions are like that all the time, why can't a mare?

Allegro continued to eye the mare, with increasing interest. "Well, my name is Allegro, and I'm the alpha of these lands." He watched her carefully, trying to decipher what her intentions with Criss could possibly be. "What do you want with Criss? He is a good stallion - surely he can't be in any kind of trouble?" He turned his ears as if he could hear the stallion now. He thought of the way that he was probably conversing with Kalliope right now in hushed tones. Sure, he was a bit jealous. But if that's what Kalliope wanted to do, then he would support it. His heart had been broken before and he knew that what he felt for Kalliope was no where near love - he hardly knew her - and he would get over it quickly enough. As long as both people walked away happily.

As he verified his status as the alpha, I repeated his name once in my mind to help remember it. I gave a smile as he spoke of Criss being a good stallion, laughing lightly to assure him of what I was about to say.

"Don't worry, he is a good stallion. The most trouble he could get into is one of his tricks gone wrong, as far as I know. I would like to see him again, because I knew him...What's it been, about four years ago. We were in love, or at least I was, before we were seperated..."

I didn't want to bring up the natural disaster that had seperated, I wanted to keep my answers as simple and basic as possible. I wanted to keep them short because I would hope that it would help block out certain memories, but I didn't get much luck. If you must know, a flood had come to the valley from the heavy rains that came after a drought. I was forced in one direction, and Criss in another...

He contined to peer curiously at her. What a surprise she would be in when she caught sight of Kalliope! "Well, ok," he finally muttered. "But Criss isn't here to stay very long, so I expect the same from you." He sighed one more time, his ears set on the terrain and home behind him. "But you may come in and greet an old friend - or more than a friend, as you put it - if you like." And with that, he turned and becokned her towards his herd, hoping that this wasn't a mistake.

I was insulted that he was expecting me to leave after a short amount of time, a stallion ridding his lands of a pretty mare? I thought about it though, and if Criss was to be leaving soon I would follow anyways...I gave another dip of my muzzle with a small smile.

"Thank you, Lord Allegro."

With that, I followed the painted stallion towards the herd...
