Need a refill cause I just can't get enough,
I've got a fever, oh yeah, and the prescription's love.
So lay the truth on me,
Cause that is all that I need.

Hold up, wait a minute, put a little love in it.

Hey, Can't kick the habit,
Yeah, I got to have it,
Yeah, I 'm what they call a,
Love addict, Love addict.
Hey, can't live without it,
Yeah, G'on shout about it.
Hey, I'm a symptomatic,
Love addict, Love addict.

I'm blessed, I must confess,
My heart is pounding in my chest,
Cause this love's the best,
I'm just a love addict.

Coming down with something outrageous,
Lookout now cause it so contagious.
This feeling's got me reeling,
So amped up that I hit the ceiling.
Gotta clear my throat,
Huh huh, now I gotta have some more.

My dark, hazelnut colored canvas is glossy underneath the sun; it bears it's own sheen from the golden grass that brushes by my long limbs as I trot carefully forward. You could never be too sure when you traveled through lands like this - something could be underneath, and cause you to trip and break something. Or, worse, a snake could be hidden within the overgrown grass. A snake bite wasn't pleasant; and one was most likely to die from it.

I toss my small tiara, which sends golden locks of my thick forlock to the sides of my face - freeing my occuli from being blocked underneath them, and thus, allowing me to have a clearer vision of the lands that stretched out before me. Peach colored hooves kept at their steady paced trot, though delicate audda pivoted at their bases as teal colored pools continued their scrutiny of the surrounding grassland and the outlines of a few equines. Nares caught the scent of the others; all of them were very, very fresh. Yet, there was only four - three stallions and a mare amongst them, which made me worry slightly.

Scoffing, I pushed aside the petty worry. I knew how odd my chestnut coat was, and how rare it was to have almost white blond locks with it. Teal hues were undoubtly another added feature that would entice any wandering suitor - so all I really had to so was wait.

I'm worried to think that all we had was truly nothing
I watch life as a bystander with silent tears on my cheeks
I wait . . . but nothing happens.

People come and go with no true meaning
Every day is a living hell knowing that you're making your own life
On the outside I'm soul-less, on the inside I'm dying
I wait . . . but nothing happens.

What now? Will I spend the rest of my life waiting on hopless dreams?
Why should I even care anymore? I know you don't.
I dream of the day when you won't haunt me
I wait . . . but nothing happens.

I'm trapped in an invisible boundary. I scream for help, but nobody turns
I try to ignore your ever-lasting presence, but you're always there in the back of my mind
My head tells my heart to shut-up and move on, but the tiny fragments are too small to heal
I wait . . . but nothing happens.

I finally see your face again and my heart jumps to my throat
Again I wait, gagged and bound by that invisible demon as my life passes by
Again you haunt me, now more than ever as you seek vengeance on my shattered remains
I wait . . . but nothing happens

The pieces left of my heart are scattered and soaked in tears and memories
The never-ending question of: “Why? Why me?” plagues me silently every day
I seek comfort and none comes
I wait . . . but nothing happens

I’m still alone – no matter how hard I try to pick up the pieces
No one will ever know the battle I fight every day
I watch you there – smiling and blurring by with the rest of the world
And I’m still here . . . waiting.

A tall, noble stallion trotted briskly towards the new mare. "Hello, there," he called when he was in hearing distance of her. A soft wind wove it's way through his milky bangs and he blinked down at the mare before him. He bowed his head slightly in a formal way and said, "Hello, my name is Allegro - alpha of these lands. And what might your purpose be here?"

Teal colored hues flickered over to the bi-colored brute; audda pinned themselves back into my thick, white blond curls briefly before they pivoted back into their forward stances.
"Un placer, Allegro," I reply, before catching myself. "I mean, a pleasure, Allegro. It's hard to remember that not everyone speaks Español. I seek a home, Señor Allegro,"I add, my hispanic accent clinging to my accent, making it huskier than the normal light and airy voice of a mare.

Translation:
1. Un placer, Allegro
- A pleasure, Allegro
2. Español
- Spanish
3. Señor Allegro
- Lord Allegro

Audda perked as well as the stallion took in the mare's rich accent. It was nice to listen to. "A home, then, Lady?" he asked. "Well, in order for me to accept you, then I will have to know your own dubbance. May I ask you of your name?" His old - but strong - muscles rippled underneath the spotted hide as Allegro shifted his weight above his long, white legs.

I laughed, my laughter is reedy due to my mixed accents of Greek and Spanish, yet warm and husky like my accent.
"Of course, Señor Allegro, how forgetful of me. I am Kalliope Elektra," I replied cheerifully, dipping my small tiara in response. I was smaller tha him, but that wasn't anything new. I was pure Paso Fino; which meant I'd always be small. "But please, call me Kalliope."

"Kalliope, it is, then," Allegro said, smiling slightly. "Well, if you'll follow me, I'll lead you to the herd, then. The herd has been growing quite quickly, so there will be many others for you to meet." With a whisk of his ebony and ivory tail, he turned and started to walk slowly back towards the herd. He only looked over his shoulder once with his soft gray orbs to make sure that Kalliope was following.

((OOC: To the herd! :D))
