Title: Such A Beautiful Disaster...
Description: One last chance...

Do you feel like a man when you push her around?
Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground?
Well I'll tell you my friend, one day this world's going to end
as your lies crumble down, a new life she has found.

The words explained her past, the past of the beautiful Friesian mare. With her neck arched, her extremely long forelock covered her hazel eyes. In the sunlight, she gleamed as sunlight reflected off her sweaty ebony coat. At night, she blended in...Being the terrifying demon she truly was, stalking wanderers until the right moment came for their screams to fill the night. The young mare was gorgeous to look at, not so pretty to get along with...Beautiful Disaster was name known far and wide, Disaster the more commonly known name... Many called her a heartless creature of the night, some swear her very voice could seduce you to your death...Were these tall tales true? Well she had a heart, but very rarely had she ever shown it. As for her personality, well, stallions beware...

Feathered hooves carried the mare gracefully across the Shadowlands, in search of a poor little stallion that could think he has a chance with her. Cold hazel eyes searched with boredom, resting a hoof on its tip while she waited... Her odd season would come soon, for the second time this year. Yes, she had two seasons, another advantage to her habit of flirting up stallions. Oh yes, she could be quite the temptress, but sooner or later Disaster would end up with plans gone wrong....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That was a year ago, when little did she know that her plans would go wrong. Terribly wrong... She had agreed to be in the harem of Agni, but this agreement along with her flirtatious plans backfired. Instead of being taken to the herd lands first, she had been immediately brought to the Willow Grove in which she had been raped by her so called King. Ended up carrying his foal, she gave birth to a filly. Only now, Agni rejected the filly, wanting a colt instead. To save both her daughter and possibly her own self, she had threatened to kill Agni's son. She had turned to the claiming grounds, only to be found by a stallion that thought he would be able to handle her... Well, apparently not, apparently, she was too much of a handful for him. And back then, her daughter with her. So she took over a land, Sylveria forest. But now, her daughter was grown and off doing who knew what. Her land, the sanctuary for all mares who fall victim to stallions, was empty and held no use for her now. So here she was again, the claiming grounds, to give it one last shot at finding a stallion who could change her mind without immediatly wanting a foal from her...
Who could accept a once flirtatious mare, full of spirit and destructive plans, who had a stone-cold heart, a nasty attitude, and skills that would be envied in a war-zone. Still drop dead gorgeous, but even more disgusted by stallions than ever. Who would accepted this Beautiful Disaster...
Elegant head tucked to well muscled chest, Santico trotted with elegant and flowing strides. Cresty neck was powerful, curving in a graceful arc. Dark orbs darted about searching for something he knew was there. Blasts of hot air struck his tucked head, as orbs set upon the desired object. A dark figure, moving over the earth, nearly floating. Forelock obscured her eyes. A demoness for sure.
Upon reaching the fae, the brute's head shot up, piercing orbs studying her figure. He circled around only once, surveying what was to be his. A hellish mare of deepest black, tassels adorning her lovely legs, long forelock and mane creating a mysterious aura about her. Proud head was brought up to stare straight at the fae. His words came out emotionless, expressing little more than interest. Welcome, my demoness. I am Santico, King of Deathtrap Riverbed. What, may I ask, is your cursing?
My auds pinned to the very sight of a stallion, curling my lip with distaste to reveal sharp ivories that would give quite a bite if need be while he circled me. If he /dared/ to think to try /anything/ with me after the bull I've been put through, he had another thing coming. I let my face relax a bit, covering my teeth once again. The rest of my body on the other hand, was tensed, every muscle I had ready for anything. I kept my crown held high, after all, I still had enough pride and regal rights while I was unclaimed. And I would not be easily convinced to follow this brute either. I stared back at him beneath my forelock, pure distrust of the brute simply because he was a brute. One ear flicked back as he spoke, another King, eh? Seems to be quite a lot of dark kings attempting to take me, only one having succeeded in the past. I considered telling him a name that had nothing to do with my own, for I had become too popular in some lands. Some had not heard of me, others- well, others knew my name quite well. But might as well give it a shot. "Beautiful Disaster, former Queen to Sylveria Forest. Disaster for short."
Tail whipped about sharply, Santico noticing with distaste the look on her face. Orbs glanced over her bod once again. Her muscles were tense and defined, obviously waiting for him to do something. So she was a former queen... Her reply did not shock him. Her head carriage and her way of behaving toward him had told him as much. There is no need to be so nervous. My bark is much worse than my bite... for now. A depraved grin flashed over his face, then disappeared, leaving his face as expressionless as it had been before.
"Words of an acquantince are hardly to be trusted." I said bitterly, I could not count on his word no matter how honost or decietful they trully were. My gaze was still narrowed, paying no mind to his little grin. If he thought he was being funny, he had one weird sense of humor. Hardly a sense of humor at all. If he thought he was being sly and coy, it was more like annoying. Stallions. Ugh, all the same.
"Because of past happenings I have no choice but to be nervous, despite your word or any intentions you may have. You understand I'm sure, that trust is not to be givin out to just anyone. Now, why have you come here?"
I have come here out of loneliness more than anything. It is well-known that horses tend to gather here, for whatever reason. I am only looking for someone to talk to. He gazed at the mare with a stolid face, neither body nor expression betraying any sense of emotion. I could just as well ask the same of you. What brings you here?
"Don't think of me as stupid, stallion. I'm sure you know just as well as I that this is a claiming ground. Those looking for conversations go to the Common Lands. Mares looking for a home come here, stallions wanting to bring those mares back with them come here. So obviously, I am looking for a home, and if you are lucky, you may bring me back to yours."
I hissed, insulted by him as though he thought I didn't know the purpose of these lands to begin with. For all I knew, I was just another mare worthy of providing his 'highness' a foal. Like Agni, who nearly killed my daughter simply because I bore him a filly out of his forcing me, instead of the prized colt he wished for.
"And as a King, I doubt you are anything but alone in your lands. And if I were to be brought back with you, I'd just be another score on your lists of mares. "
How would you know anything about my attitude towards faes? It is not your position at this time to judge me, for I can assure you that you are wrong in the highest degree. I prize and care for the members in my herd. Recently, twin fillies were born to me. Others may have killed them. I have not, nor will I ever. My heart is tainted, but I am not a barbarian, and if you choose to imply so then maybe you shan't come with me. The words came with a torrent of anger, and he regarded the mare with cold eyes, tail whipping about violently behind him. New words flowed from his maw after the moment of silence, softened but crisp. You may come with me if you wish, but if you refuse, I shall pursue you no further. He dipped his head, letting her interpret the movement as she wished. A farewell, a beckon, or a bow out of grudging respect. In all honesty, it was a combination of the three, though he did not expect her to notice it. He took a subtle step backwards, giving her space, and taking off the pressure. He must be mighty careful with the cunning and beautiful demoness.
His temper that had risen so quickly meant practically nothing to me, my crown held high and face expressionless. His words, though lashed with anger and frustration, were hardly believable to somebody like me. After all, trust is not just given out just because someone tells you that you can trust them. If you fall for that, a stab in the back is quite easy to happen. But if you wait a while, let them prove to you that they are trustworthy, only then can you be sure to give them belief that they will never turn on you. I thought about his last words as he stepped away from me, mentally sizing him up and judging how much of a fight would have to be put up with him. Eh, I've taken on worse...
After making my decision, I stayed quiet for a few seconds longer. Why not give a bit of suspense? Watching him from beneath my forelock, I gave a snort before I spoke once more.
"I will follow you to your lands, but be assured that you are not to be trusted immediatly. Even you can understand that I'm sure...Prove to me that I can trust you and I will stay. But betray that trust, or give me a reason not to trust you, I will leave. With or without a fight."
So she wanted the rules to be her own. That could work... for now. Piercing black orbs eyed the mare, considering her request. I do not expect you to trust me right away. In fact, I caution against it. But after a time... His words trailed off. Come. Dark is approaching, and it is a perilous journey to make at night.
He began to walk away, leading the Disaster towards his lands. This mare certainly had the regal bearing of a queen, and after a while, he might even consider recrowning her as queen of Deathtrap Riverbed.
