Coat flashed in the golden sunlight as the brute loped gracefully across the clearing. The rippling, golden hued grass blended in with his whipcord, which floated in the air like a banner declaring his presence. He sat back on his haunches and came to a quick, sliding stop as the kicked up dust enveloped him. He stood up all the way and shook himself. Dust came cascading off his toned hindquarters. The brute walked forward a few steps and then plunged his maw into the clear, cool water in front of him. He drank until he could drink no more, and then lifted his head, refreshed.
