Dome lifted in the air, nares breathing deep the smell of his new land. A faint scent of another still trailed in the air, but it was obvious that this unknown was long gone. The brute surveyed the landscape, piercing black orbs penetrating the dusk and gazing out to the horizon, barely visible for the cliff walls hung jagged and threatening, obscuring the vanishing sunlight. The last sliver of light fell across the beast's face, filling his eyes with a malicious glimmer. He was almost a ghost, nearly white bod standing out from thick darkness. He reared, hooves slashing through the air like swords as he trumpeted his new ownership to the world. He was a king now in every manner of speaking, and before long he would need to pick a queen to rule alongside him. And so the brute loped off in long and elegant stride to the claiming grounds.
