Title: Entering Paranoia Phobia

sassaboo - September 22, 2007 11:11 PM (GMT)
I'm in the business of misery, let's take it from the top
She's got a body like an hourglass it's ticking like a clock
It's a matter of time before we all run out...
When I thought he was mine, she caught him by the mouth

Entering into the land without any care in the world, another equine could be heard.
Sunlight reflected off the mare’s smooth black coat, the bright white blanket of snow white draped across her rump standing out quite a bit from the rest of her body. Tresses of ebony bounced into the air with her lively trot, the ends fading to a dark brown. Brown eyes scanned the entire land, as she started singing the rest of the song stuck in her head in a ridiculously high pitched voice, in which you could’ve sworn it was some little filly speaking instead of a young mare.

“I waited eight long months
She finally set him free
I told him I couldn't lie, he was the only one for me
Two weeks we had caught on fire
She's got it out for me, but I wear the biggest smile”

Whoa...well I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now
Whoa... it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now
But God does it feels so good
'Cause I got him where I want him now
And if you could then you know you would
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good

Had you been listening, you would’ve either busted out laughing just from how cute and funny it was, or stared at how freaky and disturbing it was. It only added to the mare’s hyper personality, tossing her head and swishing her tail as though dancing to know music. In particular she wasn’t looking for a home, just someone to talk to and feel welcomed by. A group that wouldn’t turn her away or constantly use pick-up lines on her.

Second chances they don't ever matter, people never change
Once a whore, you're nothing more, I'm sorry that'll never change
And about forgiveness, we're both supposed to have exchanged
I'm sorry honey, but I passed up, now look this way!

Well there's a million other girls who do it just like you
Looking as innocent as possible to get to who
They want it what they like, it's easy if you do it right
Well I refuse, I refuse, I refuse!

Whoa...well I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now
Whoa... it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now
But God does it feels so good
'Cause I got him where I want him right now
And if you could then you know you would
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good ...

With a pause, something caught her attention from the corner of her eye, a bit of movement on a rock not but a couple feet away. With a little scream, the mare jumped up and over, away from a little lizard that was on the rock. “Oh my God! Get it away!” She waved a hoof at it, trying to shoo it away, before panicking and cantering off deeper into the lands. As she slowed down, her body was shaking nervously, looking back over her shoulder to make sure it was gone. How could such a tiny lizard scare her? No one was quite sure, but it was just one of the things that scared her spitless. Indeed, the young mare had many fears, oddly enough. Including having trust issues, yet in one day she could grow comfortable enough with a person to practically through herself at someone. Soon she started calming down again, the smell of others now catching her attention. Nickering out for whoever was ruler of this land, the pretty little thing waited while running the rest of the song in her mind…

I watched his wildest dreams come true
Not one of them involving you
Just watch my wildest dreams come true
Not one of them involving ...

Whoa, well I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now ...

Whoa, well I never meant to brag
But I got him where I want him now
Whoa... it was never my intention to brag
To steal it all away from you now
But God does it feels so good
'Cause I got him where I want him now
And if you could then you know you would
'Cause God it just feels so...
It just feels so good

Lyrics from Misery Business by Paramore

I trotted through my beautiful, rocky mountains on my daily patrol for dangers or new members. I was jogging along, humming a little song of my own when I heard someone, or something, scream. Mountain lion? No, too high-pitched. Eagle? They didn't sound like that. No, this was a fearful scream. I charged forward to where I had heard it come from.

I stopped when I saw who had made the scream. She was black all over, a snowy white blanket on her rump. She looked like a nice little mare, but maybe a bit crazy. I bowed my head and looked her in the eyes with my blue-green pools as I spoke.

"I am Poseidon, leader of the Aurora Mountains. Are you all right, miss? I heard a scream over here."

"There was a lizard, and it was a big lizard too! And it just kept staring at me and it wouldn't go away." By the tone of her voice with her childish accent, she made it known that she was sincerely terrified of the little reptile. He probably thought she was insane right about now, but she wasn't. Well, maybe just a little bit.

"Oh, I'm Paranoia Phobia, Phobia for short." Ha, wild guess where that name came from. She tucked her muzzle shyly, a habit she did when meeting new people.

((Sorry for utter pathetic shortness))

"Yeah, lizards are common around here. But I haven't seen a big one before, most of them are about the size of a horse's eye. Nice name, Phobia." I chuckled at her name. It seemed to fit: her being afraid of a little lizard, sounding like a young filly. "Sorry to say, you'll have to get used to lizards around here. They're not as common as they would be at a beach, but there's still quite a few around here. Plus eagles and mountain goats. There's a lot of animal life in the mountains. So: what were you doing here? Just wandering?"

sassaboo - September 23, 2007 01:00 AM (GMT)
"Doesn't matter, I hate lizards... Yeah, I'm just wandering." She said, looking around at the lands by stepping over her own hooves until she turned 360 degrees around back to facing Posiedon. "I guess looking for a place to stay too, since I don't really have anywhere to go." With that, she began to randomly bob her head to and fro as though there was music playing somewhere.

I had to admit, Phobia was....interesting. Her voice was different, and the fact that she was now bobbing her head randomly supported my conclusion, if you know what I mean. She was weird. But I liked her.

"Well, I guess that you've found one," I said. I turned and trotted a few steps toward the valley where the rest of the herd was. "Follow me. And I'll protect you from any lizards we see." I chuckled and smiled good-naturedly.

/OOC: Do you want her as one of his brides or a maiden?/

((She can be a bride if you want, I'm basically just gonna have her follow him to the herd rp...))
