Why is the Wii system still in such short supplies? Well, it isn't, if you're living in Europe. If you thought that Wiis were in short supply in America because Nintendo, or rather their factories just couldn't keep up with demand, here's a new theory.
A game industry analyst, according to a news report, is actually saying that Nintendo doesn't want to sell Wiis in the USA, because of the weak dollar. They claim that they make more money by the euro.
European sales have started to hit a slump, and also according to this report, because of this, Nintendo should soon start raking out more Wii systems in the USA soon.
If the weak dollar was a problem, why didn't Nintendo just up the price in the USA?
