Title: Microsoft announces quitting hd-dvd add-ons

Malakai - February 26, 2008 03:14 AM (GMT)
Today, Microsoft has officially announced they are stopping production of the Toshiba 360 HD-DVD Addon drive. I've personally seen a few xbox drives around the $35 mark on ebay, in the last hour, but didn't watch the items to the end... This may even bring the drives down even further.

These drives would be cool if you want to put them on your PC, to impress your friends, with some hi-rez batman begins or king kong....

Well, you knew this was coming. I don't have a 360 but I might pick one up just for the heck of it the price is really cheap.

Microsoft is retailing the last hd-dvd drives for only $49. Hurry up and get one before they're gone:
