I was reading yahoo news the other day and saw a clip that Sly Stallone actually signed a contract to direct and act in two more action movies: another Rocky and another Rambo movie.
Many people thought this last Rocky movie was a good ending for the series, and even Sly himself said it was the last, but money talks I suppose. Rocky Balboa made around 70 million dollars if I'm not mistaken.
Another John Rambo movie is being made as well, even though the last John Rambo movie is still in theaters.
According to reports, there are several scripts out there that have to be gone over, and I guess they just have to pick the best ones.
Yep... I understand the rambo thing, because you can make a movie where sh!t just blows up all through it, with out any real storyline, and people will come, but with Rocky, it's more of a drama than an action movie, and I don't see any thing working with it, because almost any storyline it would have would most likely contradict one or more of the previous sequels storylines. Also, sly is 60 years old... No boxing association would let a 60 year old box. It's hard even for a 40 year old boxer to keep his license.
