Amazon is now, for a limited time, offering free shipping with three of their HD-DVD players, and one of those, the HD-A3, the third generation and replacement for the HD-A2 is only $182.20. This is suppose to be the lowest this player has ever been, as it usually retails for between $240 to $299.
That's not all. There are two pack-in movies (300 and bourne identity) as well as the 5 free mail-in movies........

http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=U...9&creative=9325What is the difference between the HD-A2 and HD-A3? Spec-wise, they're exactly the same. The case is slightly different. So, I'm not sure why it has been more expensive, if for no other reason than just because it's a newer player, but now, with the 2 pack-in movies, as well as the 5 mail-in movies, it should definitely be worth it.
I've even thought about buying several units on sale to get both a free hd-dvd player and cheap movies. It'd be the fastest way to build up a collection lol. But they only do like one free mail in offer per household.
