Who's waiting for the release of Blue Dragon for the Xbox 360? I've been eyeballing it but haven't quite made my mind up, whether or not to buy it. I think it's coming out on august 8th.

Any one played the demo? Impressions? Planning to buy it?

Ha, if its an rpg then you know I will buy it. It does look promising and I hope it is the start of japanese rpgs on the 360. I wish the main character was older though but they have shadow creatures to assist them and it is turn based so thats a plus.

I downloaded the demo of this game and this morning got to play it.

First, the graphics in controllable aspects in the game are great. Some of the animations (including animated spells, etc) play very choppy sometimes, which I find pretty annoying.

The demo is up to 60 mins long and includes two selectable levels.

The storyline, I can't tell you much about, but what I've gathered by playing the game is that the dungeons all seem to look alike, which reminds me a lot of castlevania curse of darkness.

The game itself has sort of a kiddy feel to it, kind of like pokemon or tales of symphonia... to me at least.

The attack style, I'm sort of mixed about. You usually use your dragons? to attack for you, but you can do some attacks and spells too, many also involving the little dragons too.

I played probably 60% of the first mission, which includes two dungeons... and if that is how the whole game is going to be, then I've got to think pretty hard about possibly buying it when it comes out.

Well, it looks like EGM agreed with my take on this game. They've given it a 6.5 average rating, although I probably would have given it a slightly below average rating.
