Title: oblivion
Description: wanting to start playin' again

Lately, I've been working my arse off on the eserver for appx 10-16 hours per day, working maybe 4 days, then taking a day and a half or 2 off. With the exception of watching a few movies, I haven't had time to do a lot of video game playing, etc, but I've got a renewed in playing oblivion again.
Any other new 360 games that has come out in the last 4-6 months (especially rpgs) that are good?

Well, I just took a stroll around ebgames websites, to see if they had any new rpgs listed, and the only new ones they have listed aren't even released yet. What the hell is up with microsoft? For awhile there (1 year?) microsoft was pushing out quite a bit of games for its 360, but now, they're slowing down and are going to let ps3 or wii take the lead.

How many of you have completed all of the side quests before completing the main quest?

not me, can't get into oblivion like that.

Have you seen how much they want for the new expansion pack for oblivion on xbox live? $25 dollars and 1gb worth of downloading... I thought by using xbox live, things would be cheaper, as they don't have to ship the items out, put in expensive boxes, manuals, inserts, and packaging... that's as much as most retail expansion packs..
Microsoft has diverted too many resources to xbox live and not enough to getting new games put out...

the bad thing about it is that I would have bought the expansion pack if it had been more reasonable. Hell, I bought the special edition, which cost like $69 new. Maybe they'll put out a GOTY edition later on with all of the expansions.

I think a thread on expansion packs/downloadable content would be interesting considering it is a big fear nowadays that developers will release incomplete games and make us pay for downloads. It is a possiblity with everything so internet accessible.

There are like 5 or 6 mini expansions packs on the 360, for a somewhat more reasonable price, but what are you getting? Maybe one quest, one feature, one item. Horse's Armor, the ability to find spells in dungeons? Theme packs? I believe the ps3 version has most if not all of those expansion packs free.
So, you paid $59 or $69 for the game, and then buy all the expansion packs for another $50-$75... the world's most expensive game yet?

I just started playing the PC version. It's really hard to stay focused on the main quest. Every time I find something new, I go wander off to explore it. ^^;
