I was one of the few that actually got to play the original Street Fighter for the 30 seconds it was in the arcade. I love the Street Fighter series, especially the VS series. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Marvel vs capcom series is gonna come back and if anyone has played or knows anywhere to find Street Fighter one.

On that note, any recommendations for 2-d fighters?

I remember seeing street fighter one in the arcades for a brief period but didn't play it at the time. I believe it was also called fighting street, which I actually use to own on the pc engine. I'm not sure if the pc engine version was exactly like the arcade, but it sucked. The main thing that made it suck was the very critical timing of the moves (fireball, uppercuts, jumping round kick, etc)

yeah i played the first Street Fighter, And yes it sucked as much as the home version. You could only Play as Ken or Ryu and the end boss was Sagat. We should all be happy that Capcom made the 2nd one because that's were the real Street Fighter game took off.
