Title: An Elder Scrolls Clone?
Description: Two Worlds

After getting in to the xbox 360 a bit, just beating gears of war, I've been looking at new games coming soon. One is called Two Worlds, and it looks almost exactly like oblivion, and judging from the information, it'll be just like oblivion as well.
Any one else see the screenshots or hear of the game at all? It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

Oblivion is such a good game and there is a ton of stuff to do, why would you want to play a clone of it? But to answer your question no i havn't heard anything abou it and i don't have customers asking about it.

Clones can be good. Look at wolfenstein turn DOOM, Doom turn Quake, Quake turn Doom III, Halo, Halo 2, and those turn Gears of war
and probably 100 more games in between.

What I don't like about oblivion is the way they have creatures level up as you level up. I spent many hours leveling up my character, to go through the oblivion gates, because I got my a$$ kicked in it earlier, and just when I thought my character was ready to go, the monsters got bigger and badder.
I probably didn't play the perfect character to start with, which was a healer/acrobat I believe. So, he was pretty weak. The only way I could have ever gotten through the gates was to only fight single monsters, but mainly run from the rest, and I didn't know exactly where to go...

Two Worlds Demo is suppose to be available on August 21st, 2007. So, at least it'll give some of us a chance to try it personally.

There are mods that fix that. >.>
That's always been my gripe with Oblivion too. If I get stronger, I want to be stronger, not have everyone else get stronger too.
It's supposed to be to help keep it challenging, but well, just make the later game monsters harder?

oblivion:
Well, my character is pretty much invincible now. I can pretty much wipe out whole towns of guards most of the time, but still can't complete the damn mage quest, because of that shock hit on one of the quests. After I had leveled up, I read that you should actually go to that part and finish it by level 2, and the shock hit isn't that bad.
I've cast all kinds of anti shock spells and still die every time on it... now, I'm just going to have to buy some special armor that has 20% shock resistance and see what happens next.
Unfortunately, I'm currently playing a good guy, with mild thieving skills. Repairs are really too costly to keep a large bounty and fight all of the guards, and if you kill the wrong people, you could mess up potential quests.
Now, if fighting was the only thing you had to do to level up, I'd probably go completely evil, but you level up as much (or more, depending on your character) just by walking, jumping, casting restoration and summoning spells, buying and selling items, etc...
Two Worlds:
I thought the 360 demo was coming out today but haven't seen it on xbox live yet. The pc demo, however, has been released today. Reading game announcements are about as accurate as predicting the weather it seems lol..

Still no signs of a demo coming to xbox live. It really sounds like they don't want people to try the game before buying it... Musta not met many expectations...

Even now, sept 30th, 2007, there still is no demo of this game for download. I've almost forgot about it, and with the absence of a demo to download, it just makes it that much more unappealing.
