Any one ever play this game from the late 80s? I use to play it quite a bit and really enjoyed it over the years. Like I've said previously about wanting to get an arcade cabinet to strip down, if I had this game, I would keep it intact.
The game itself is listed as a fighter, but it has rpg elements and kind of reminds me of a mix between castlevania, trojan, and maybe even a little bit of ghouls and ghosts. You earn coins to upgrade weapons, armor, and vitality at stores. The character's main weapon is like a ball and chain crossed with some multi-projectile weapon.
The thing that gets me about the game is that it quickly becomes very challenging. These skeletons just keep popping up out of the ground, faster and moreo ften with each level.
Never played it but it sounds cool.
If you have mame, just do a google search for blktiger and it should come up for download..
I just recently seen that this game was also released on the commodore 64, if any one wants to either try it out on an emulator, or if you have the hdd64 cable or whatever it's called. I use to have a c64 connected to a pc like this and had hundreds of images from cassettes, diskettes, and tapes.
What the program did was basically emulate a huge disk drive using a PC. Not every thing worked correctly on it, and I think there may have been a problem with multi-disk games (many of the rpgs were multi-disk.)
I bought the special cable from ebay many years ago but don't have a c64 any more.
