I was reading an article earlier today that said Blue Dragon is currently the #1 selling game in Japan. The game was relesed Dec 7th, and is one of the first rpgs for the console made in Japan, made by Microsoft and Mistwalker, with the direction of final fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi.

Several sources have stated that it is up to game developer Mistwalker to make the xbox 360 a success in Japan. Between this and the lower prices of systems and bundles in Japan, maybe there will be some success there.

I wish they would have released the game in both North America and Asia at the same time, however :/
