Title: MMORPGs
Description: Who's playing what

Anybody gotten into the craze of the MMORPG (massive multi-player online role-playing game)? EverQuest, World of Warcraft, Ultima Online... any of them?

I'm personally playing on Maple Story, if I had the web address I'd put it in here but sadly I can never remember it correctly. It's a completely free MMO, two-dimentional, and it's really a lot of fun. If you're just getting started, I'd recommend checking it out, it has a lot of the features the big ones do with an old-school feel and a good sense of humor.

Plus it's free. Did I mention that part?

I'm on there, I'm on two different servers just to see the difference. If you log in, I'm on the two middle servers (yet MORE names I can't quite remember...). On one my name is Kajes, and on another... crap. Can't remember THAT name either.

ANYway...

Anyone playing?

I've played Everquest, Anarchy Online, Conquer Online, Shadowbane, PSO 1 & 2 for the cube, and PSU for the 360. Out of those games, I've really liked shadowbane, everquest, and pso 1 & 2, but disliked the rest.

Anarchy Online was ruined for me I believe because I started way after most people had. So, there were very few people willing to group up and such, because they wanted to do it with their friends that they've played with for years. Anarchy Online has been struggling over the last year to get people to play, by offering free 1-year trials and such, because if they can't get enough new players signing up, they also lose the ability to gain new players for when they need to start charging for accounts. Otherwise, it seems like a good, complex game.

Conquer is a Korean MMORPG that is sort of free, and I will eventually get the urge to play it again some day. It's kind of like everquest, with a very small world and a lot of emphasis on player killing.

Currently, I'm not playing any mmorpgs.
