Title: Weekly poll 12/9
stevec1636 - December 10, 2006 05:23 AM (GMT)
Well we all buy games, but the question is where do you buy them and why?
Kain - December 10, 2006 09:18 AM (GMT)
Well Gamestop is it because I can only go there for good titles as late as 2005 for about ten bucks.
As all games there eventually do, Castlevania, Dragon Quest 8, football games, Final Fantasy games, Metal Gear Solid 3, etc, etc have all rapidly dropped in prices within the last several months.
Though I normally don't go there to resell or trade in stuff, where else can you get very good recent titles right now (I know they're used.) for at least $20 in good working condition?

I buy most of my new games from Best buy. 2nd place would probably be EBAY, 3rd thrift stores, flea markets, and yard sales. As for Gamestop, I've pre-ordered 2 or 3 things and only got one of those things (hd dvd drive for 360) So, overall, I haven't had good luck getting the items I order. Amazon.com has been about the same way.

Well for me it's EB, I think you all know why. I will sometimes buy games at Best Buy or CC if they are selling out games at $5.00 and there are a few mom and pop stores in town that i get stuff from. But 99% of my games comes from work.

EB because I can buy used games and resell when I get tired of em.

Mainly Ebay, games are always cheaper, I refuse to pay $50 for any new game....if not then eb or gamestop....

I've been buying a lot of them at Fry's because of my discount, but thrift stores and GameStop sometimes too, with the occasional romp through Best Buy.
