Title: LIK-SANG Out Of Business
Description: Due to Sony's Multiple Lawsuits

I'm sure by now some of you have heard about LIK-SANG shutting its doors, due to Sony's multiple lawsuits against them. Sony and Nintendo sued them several years ago, for mod chips and flash carts, and now, their main lawsuit is about selling Sony PSP systems to people of other countries than they are suppose to go to (japanese psp going to europe or america, etc)
LIK-SANG was probably one of the largest online import shop in the world. I have ordered many items from them in the past, and they will be greatly missed.

I heard about this and also added the article in the Modern Gaming section. Sony should be ashamed for this one. They just don't get itdo they? This has nothing to do with them being mad about the imports either, ti has to do with control. They want control of the market and that is that. The one in conrol is the industry leader. I have been sick of Sony's im bicelic attitude towardes the gaming market for some time and this just added to it. They will not be getting any more of my money if I can help it.

I use to buy a lot of stuff from lik-sang, mostly accessories. Never bought a system or any games there though. He did wholesale to any one that would buy in quantity, which was pretty cool. Made quite a bit of money one time, but shipping from hong kong, no matter what you pay for stuff, is expensive..
People just generally feel safer buying stuff in their own country, which means less chance of stuff getting lost or damaged in the mail.

I will remember Lik-Sang best for its modded (multiregional DVD-compatible) translated Panasonic Gamecube that deserved a lot more notoriety than the little it got. A sure collector's item that didn't need freeloader. Did he not also tweak and sell Xboxes for a decent price? That's what I'm saying. Browsing the site alone was a treat.
