Title: Any Lynx fans here?

Would be nice to find some new Lynx fans hanging around as we are a dieing breed! Plus with the new games releasing here soon, it is always nice having other people to chat with.

I am a fan of the Lynx, I own 2 but i have to say i just don't play it all that much, It's kinda big to lug around as a handheld and finding games for it isn't that easy. But i do like the system and the linking ability.

I do enjoy my Lynx from time to time, it's a pretty decent system with some fun games, but I can't say it's my fave. Still, a good game of Crystal Mines II never hurt anybody. ;)

Hmm, I have never had problems finding the games. I especially love some of the newer things that have been done on the machine as well like Cyber Virus and Alpine Games. There have been some damn cool things done lately on the system. Add in the fact that Durnik is working on new stuff for the machine, well, that is just awesome! :D

Down here there is only 1 store out of the 10 then i go to that still has Lynx games, but i am always buying other stuff before i look at the Lynx stuff sorry to say. Plus that store is about an hour from my house so i don't go there all that often. As for the newer stuff made i don't collect the homebrew or after market games. If they didn't come out during the original run of the system i don't collect it.

My fiance found a Lynx at Goodwill for $5!!! First time I've ever seen Lynx stuff. They don't have any of that stuff here. Anyways, the thing is huge! It is an alright portable system. Not too bad.

So, what games did you get with the system? I would recommend soem games like Rygar, S.T.U.N. Runner, and Road Blasters are all great games for the system. Good stuff indeed!

I'd like to add a couple recommendations to the list, if I may, namely Chip's Challenge and Switchblade II. Chip's Challenge is a great game, very much like a weaponless version of Crystal Mines II, more puzzle based than action, and Switchblade is a slightly slow but fun side-scroller where you get both a gun AND a sword... which is ALWAYS a good thing. :-)

Yeah Switchblade II is always some great fun from Gremlin. They did a really good job on that game, fun for sure.
