Just a quick hello ! We have just bought a "Y" Reg plate which has 96,000 on the clock. Its in great condition with a full MOT and just had a service, its the TD4 diesel and automatic . And thats just about all I know on cars lol !. I took advice from this site and went for the model with the 2.0 ltr BMW engine in it, she runs really well and I have just had her checked over by the garage we use in Lincoln for maintainance and M.o.t , they were quite impressed with her. Any advice would be great and hope to chat to any of you soon !

Welcome and all that......... Make sure you keep the car well serviced and you'll be ok. My TD4 has just turned 170k and still going well.

Thanks for that ! We are not big on mileage about 7k a year so a yearly service would sufice I would hope , we always get our car serviced and checked around October so its ready for winter. The car is ideal for us with chillblaines and two cockers . First question I have really is does anyone in Lincs area have a good tyre supplier ? quick-fit is fairly close to us and seems reasonable.

try bushes, as a group the brought about 1000 freelander wheels, i was offered new wheels with fitted new tyres for the same price as a tyre.

Try internet based e-tyres and event tyres, they come to you at home or work.
I've used both and highly recommend them for price and service.
