Title: 3 And 5 Door Loadspace

Hi, Im looking for a loadspace tray and a roller cover for my soon to be aquired new toy. Is there any difference in these two items for a 3 and 5 door. Mine is a post facelift 3 door.

3 and 5 door boot floor areas are exactly the same size, so any boot liners are interchangeable.
Boot covers are NOT interchangeable. 5 door roller blind type will not fit a 3 door due to the different shape of the upper area where the soft/hard back fits.

Graham, I think the the three door and 5 doors are different shapes.
The 3 door will fit both, but the the 3 door has cubby bits at the side so is narrower.
I have a 3 door load liner in my 5 door, a rigid plastic type and there are two big gaps either side.

Well LR, Britpart, Bearmach, and all the other suppliers show the same part number for 3 and 5 door boot liners!
The small "cubby's" just inside the rear door are not counted as part of the boot space, believe it or not, because at various times there have been small doors, nets and other things fitted in that space by LR, depending on model and market place.
Oh and yes I've owned a 3 and a 5 door.

I see ,fair enough, I assumed it didn't fit "completely" because it was from a 3 door.

Hi, thanks for your help chaps. Having aquired the vehicle I need to get the other bits. Every roller load space cover seems to be for a 5 door, so I'll just have to keep looking for a 3 door.
Having just driven my first freelander home for the first time I have only one complaint. How do I get this stupid grin off my face?

The solid 3 door boot covers seem to be like hens teeth. They do sometimes come up on Ebay, but are never cheap.
When we had ours we made a cloth cover with elastic in each corner that slipped over the hooks in each corner of the boot sides. Didn't cover everything, but at least was some security.
As already said the roller blind WILL NOT FIT a 3 door
