Just signed up as I bought my first Freelander last week. 02 TD4 manual. I was wondering if the Freelander club is worth joining? as it doesn't seem that the website is up to date and I wondered if its still going?
Eh??? Hell yea, worth joining for good tips on fault finding, mods for off roading, good Green lanes plus club discounts on parts, insurance etc...........
I take it in Essex then the Freebie is the new XR3i. No, serious though, it's worth the £15 subsciption. Welcome by the way.

Hi Rusty ... welcome. I think you'll get your money's worth out of the club. Most of the web-based activity takes place on this Forum, which is a mine of useful information, handy hints and good natured banter. I can't remember the last time I visited the main site, which doesn't seem to be updated that often. The club magazine is a good read. There are discounts available from some companies, etc. The club has a stand at various shows and individual regions organise events (pub meets, green laning and off-road courses, etc). Join up and have fun :)
