hi i have a 98 freelander diesel when i seam to turn left or right and even some times when slowing i seam to have a knocking i read once that if you put it on full lock and take your foot off the clutch and it moves but feels like the brakes are on the viscous unit is on its way out i have done this but it does not feel like the breaks are on does any one know what it could be as i would like to get it sorted before any real damage is done cheers
