ive got a td4 and its started using a lot of oil (the light came on and i had to top up) upon starting and revving hard a light blue ehxaust is produced it has only just started using oil this way ,its not half as bad when warmed up ,on its last oil change it had castrol "diesel oil "suitable for turbos" etc put in its done 60,000 miles and its a shame cos other than this its a minter, m pretty sure it will fail the co2 test come the dreaded mot! anyone can help with advice pleease ! thanks

Check that the crank case breather has been replaced. Seems to have been missed off the LR service schedule, but is included in all the other types that use the same engine.
